About Us

Punner

Punner was born into a musical family being the middle child of “Chet & Ginny Benson”, founders of the Great Northern Opry. Punner would often perform at their country concerts and has also performed the Star-Spangled Banner at various events in Iron County. She was an original member of “A Step In the Faith,” an evangelical outreach music ministry based out of Iron River, Michigan, that traveled regionally. She loves all styles of music; however, she especially loves funk and blues. You won’t want to miss her version of the original “Big Mama Thornton’s Hound Dog” complete with a “growl in her voice!” Punner has always had a love for music and is very excited to be playing percussion in the group. Most recently she has taken to learning how to play the stomp board! She is always a lot of fun and always entertaining! What a great day! Hole in one! Love my Mama. You should hear her yodel! Punner loves camping! Punner, Mom and Daughters perform Star Spangled Banner at UP Championship Rodeo.
