Jane

Jane has been actively involved in several genres of music for the past 35 years. She has performed in many musicals, as well as working behind the scenes. Jane’s love for music began as a child when her dad would play the guitar and ukulele, while the family sang along. Her young experiences inspired her to enjoy all types of music, which would lead her later to write, produce, direct, and perform in the Musical Theater world. Jane played a vital role in the forming of Premier Players; a non- profit theater group that raised thousands of dollars for various charities. She was also a member of Sweet Adelines International; singing with the Riverport and Racine choruses. While teaching 2nd Grade, Jane had the privilege of honoring her school, by singing the National Anthem at a Milwaukee Brewers game, as well as singing at Grant Park in Chicago. Being an “old” soul Jane prefers the 40’s era of music, and has always admired the style of Jo Stafford and Keely Smith. She believes the greatest part about music is the people that you share it with. “It is like a journey really, you get to make music and all it encompasses, while learning from others and growing in your craft. You lose people along the way, but the music you shared together will be a part of your soul forever!” She is forever grateful to God for the blessings of this musical journey throughout her life!
